The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Pacific Division is hosting its annual Community Holiday Toy Drive through Saturday, December 16th.

Police officers are asking the public to donate a new and unwrapped toy. Toys can be dropped off at the station lobby, 12312 Culver Blvd., Del Rey.

All toys will go to underprivileged children in the Pacific Division and will be given to them when the Del Rey station hosts “Santa’s Winter Wonderland” on Saturday, December 16th.

Police and Santa Claus will pass out holiday greetings to neighbors and candy to children when the Police Sleigh visits Westside neighborhoods from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, December 11th, to Thursday, December 14th.

The Police Sleigh schedule is:

– Westchester area, Monday, December 11th;

– Venice Beach and Oakwood areas, Tuesday, December 12th;

– Del Rey, Oxford Triangle (Venice), Playa Vista and Mar Vista areas, Wednesday, December 13th; and

– Palms areas and neighborhoods east of Centinela Avenue and north of Venice Boulevard, Thursday, December 14th.

The LAPD Pacific Division can also accept donations of large sizes and cash donations. People wanting to make these types of donations should contact senior lead officer Heidi Llanes at (310) 622-3971.
