In a recent Princeton Review student survey, Loyola Marymount University (LMU) was ranked among the top ten schools in terms of aesthetics.

LMU, was ranked ninth in the survey, and was cited for having the advantage of being situated on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and downtown Los Angeles skyline.

The schools, in the order of their ranking in the survey, were Pepperdine University, in Malibu; Princeton University, in New Jersey; Sweet Briar College, in Virginia; Agnes Scott College, in Georgia,

Sewanee ñ University of the South, in Tennessee; Mount Holyoke College, in Massachusetts; Scripps College, in Claremont; Kenyon College, in Ohio; LMU; and the University of California at Santa Cruz.
