Wildlife artist Marty Katon will have his studio open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 17th and 18th, to coincide with the Venice Art Walk. His own works, in addition to student works from his classes at the Virginia Park Center, will be on display at the studio, 324 Sunset Ave., Studio F, in Venice,
“The Art Walk is such a positive event for the Venice Family Clinic that I wanted to make my contribution as well,” Katon says.
Katon’s work was most recently on display at the Dale Youngman Gallery in downtown Los Angeles and the Stagecoach Festival in Indio. He prides himself on working with animal rescue and teenagers.
Self-dubbed the “Crocodile Dundee of the art world,” he will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his artwork to the Venice Family Clinic.
