Trudy Seal, a 30-year resident of Marina del Rey, passed away Feb. 16 after a short illness. She was 95.
Seal was born Dec. 25, 1916 in Canada and moved to Los Angeles after receiving her nursing degree in Chicago.
She spent many happy years living at the Marina City Club in Marina del Rey where she enjoyed playing tennis and her favorite game Bridge, her family said.
Seal was well known for her spunk, dressing with style and flair, as her red hair was groomed at all times, her family said.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred.
She is survived by her daughter Robin Thayer, son Spencer, twin sister Nan, granddaughter Phoenix, and her son-in-law Tom Flannigan.
