The draft environmental impact report (D-EIR) for the City of Los Angeles Venice Pumping Plant Dual Force Main Project is available for public review until Friday, March 17th.

The D-EIR provides an analysis of the potential impacts that may result from the implementation of the proposed project.

“We hope that the community will take advantage of this opportunity to review the D-EIR and familiarize themselves with this important project,” said Cynthia Ruiz, president of the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works. “We are always willing to listen to stakeholders who are affected by our projects.”

The Dual Force Main Project involves the construction and installation of a new force main sewer that would extend from the Venice Pumping Plant in Venice to the North Outfall Sewer in Vista del Mar in Playa del Rey.
