A 21-year-old Los Angeles man is in stable condition after he was shot on Santa Monica Beach early Monday, July 3rd, Santa Monica police said.

Santa Monica police were called at 12:21 a.m. to the 1500 block of the beach regarding a report of shots fired.

Officers located the victim on the sand and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said they are looking for three suspects in the shooting.

Two suspects are described as Hispanic males in their 20s, five-feet-eight to six feet tall, weighing between 170 and 220 pounds, having shaved heads.

One was wearing a white shirt with a Los Angeles Clippers jersey and was allegedly armed with a dark handgun, police said.

The second suspect was wearing a white T-shirt with a tan flannel jacket, police said.

The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, having a shaved head and wearing a black shirt.
