Los Angeles police have arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting of a man on a Venice street Saturday, Oct. 16.
The victim, who is believed to be in his late teens, was in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue, near Sunset Avenue, in Venice shortly after 5 p.m. when he was approached by two suspects, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
The suspects, described only as Hispanic men in their early 20s, then allegedly fired multiple rounds at the victim, striking him in the arm, the police spokesman said. The suspects fled but were later taken into custody, police said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police said the shooting appears to be gang related.
