A man was apparently shot while walking on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of 14th Street at around 7:20 p.m. Saturday, June 5th.

The victim told police that he had been walking along when all of a sudden he felt a sharp pain to his right rib cage area and realized that he had possibly been shot.

A family member took the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated for the wound and listed in stable condition as of Sunday, June 6th.

The victim told police that he did not hear or see anything and could not offer any additional information regarding the incident.
