Killer Shrimp restaurant in Marina del Rey and the Life Rolls On Foundation will hold a Charity Poker Tournament and Casino Night beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8.
The event, held at Killer Shrimp, 4211 Admiralty Way in Marina del Rey, is open to members of the public aged 21 and over. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a snack buffet will be provided from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Life Rolls On, a nonprofit organization to improving the quality of life of young people affected by spinal cord injury and utilizing action sports as a platform.
Beginners can also learn to play poker from experts with lessons starting at 6:30 p.m., or participate in Casino Night featuring games such as Blackjack and Craps.
“We hope the public will come out and support this event as all proceeds go to LRO and enriching the lives of those with spinal cord injuries worldwide,” said Jesse Billauer, Life Rolls On founder and director of national outreach. “We are grateful to Killer Shrimp for opening their facilities to LRO and look forward to even more collaborations in the future.”
