This month, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel will launch Live From Loews: California Classics, a new monthly concert series where the public can enjoy live music with ocean views, locally-crafted beer, fine wine and California cuisine.

Set in the hotel’s five-story lobby lined with 45-foot palm trees, the event allows visitors to mix and mingle in the Fireside Lounge or relax outdoors on the oceanfront terrace while enjoying live music performances.

The series will premiere Friday, April 27 with a performance by the John Brown Band from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The band specializes in classic rock favorites and California dreamin’ surf tunes.

In addition to the performance, tickets include Angel City beer and a variety of fine regional wine selections. Executive Chef Keith Roberts will showcase the best of his contemporary California coastal cuisine, including brick oven flatbreads, inventive sushi rolls, gourmet sliders, grilled fish tacos, pier-inspired desserts, and more, a Loews spokesperson said.

The Live From Loews: California Classics concert series is offered monthly and will continue on Fridays, May 25, June 15, July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 14. Featured bands and menus will change each month.
