The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica has welcomed three new members to its Board of Governors.

Having joined the board July 1 at the beginning of the new fiscal year, the new members bring experience in banking, investments, entrepreneurship and nonprofit development, club officials said.

The new members include Bruce Ashton, a partner at the law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP; Bonnie Otting, Santa Monica community leader and former executive at Union Bank; and Rishi Sunak, partner at the investment firm Theleme Partners.

“Since our founding in 1944, we have been fortunate to count on a committed group of board members to help us serve the community in the best possible way,” said Aaron Young, chief executive officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica.

“Our Board of Governors is excited about the contributions these exceptional individuals will make to our organization.”
