Fireworks will light up the skies over Marina del Rey Wednesday, December 31st, to usher in the New Year with a ten-minute spectacular beginning at the 30-second countdown to midnight.
The fireworks show is presented by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, which originated more than 100 years ago in Italy. The fireworks will be shot off the south jetty and can be viewed throughout the Marina.
According to the county Department of Beaches and Harbors, the best locations for viewing the show are Fisherman’s Village at 13755 Fiji Way, and Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey.
Parking on New Year’s Eve is available in Los Angeles County lots throughout the Marina for $5 for the entire evening.
The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular is presented by Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe of the Fourth District, and the Department of Beaches and Harbors.
