Norma Diamond Blauer, a longtime resident of Marina del Rey, died on Monday, May 31st, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 2nd, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley.

She lived in Marina del Rey for more than 24 years.

She once owned the Something International jewelry business located in the L.A. Fashion Mart.

She also owned the Norma Diamond Bed, Bath and Gifts store in the Waterside Shopping Center in Marina del Rey.

She was a member of the Marina del Rey Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassador Committee and particapated in various Marina City Club activities.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Blauer; sons Jeffrey Diamond, Russell Diamond and Glenn Diamond; sister Jo Anne Snyder; and seven grandchildren.
