ìThe team did an exceptional job this past season,î said Orcas head coach Gaku Ito. ìI am very proud of our swimmers and how hard they worked to achieve the first place standing at the Greater Whittier Invitational.

ìIt was especially exciting to see that out of the nine relays swum, the girls teams captured four first-place finishes and the boys teams captured three first-place finishes,î Ito continued. ìOne of the first place finishes ó the boys 13 and over 200 medley relay team of Justin Hettigoda, Sterling Salvaterra, Brett Albert and Chris Abdelmalak ó qualified them for the Winter Age Group Junior Olympics.î
