The Pico Farmers’ Market returns to its old, but newly redesigned home from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 12th, at Virgina Avenue Park, 2200 Virgina Ave., Santa Monica.
For the first time in two years, the construction fences will be down and the Pico Farmers’ Market will be open to the public.
Up to 50 Southern California farmers will sell fresh and locally grown produce. Other vendors will sell food, crafts, flowers, and live plants such as herbs and vegetables.
In preparation for the Sunday, December 4th, grand opening festival of the park, City of Santa Monica staff will scan and return personal photos taken at the park during its 30-year history.
City TV plans to air these old photos in the next four weeks.
