A community workshop regarding the planning for the new branch library in Virginia Avenue Park in Santa Monica is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the park’s Thelma Terry Community Meeting Room, 2200 Virginia Ave.
Topics to be discussed at the “Let’s Talk Pico Branch Library” workshop will include an update on planning the new branch library and a presentation featuring a virtual tour of libraries nationwide, as well as an opportunity to meet the design team, Koning Eizenberg Architecture.
The public is also being encouraged to give input on the Pico Branch Library planning process by completing a survey, available in English and Spanish.

Additional workshops are also planned for October, November and December.
Virginia Avenue Park is served by Big Blue Bus Line 7. The park is wheelchair accessible and welcomes persons of all abilities.
