The Westchester Lariats will host their annual Spring Show performance Saturday, May 31st.

The show, sponsored by Playa Vista, is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Playa Vista Concert Park, 13141 Fountain Park Drive, Playa Vista. Admission is free and street parking is available.

The Lariats are a Westchester international folk dance group for young people. From its beginnings nearly 60 years ago as a square dance social club for teenagers, the group has evolved into a performance troupe with a repertoire of both vintage and modern dances from America, Europe, Polynesia and Latin America.

Over the years, the Westchester Lariats say they have shared their love of dance with audiences around the world, on tours to Australia, Ireland, France and Mexico, as well as within the U.S. This summer, they plan to tour Hungary and perform at a historic castle in the capital city of Budapest.

The Westchester Lariats is a nonprofit, educational youth folk dance troupe chartered by the State of California and governed by a volunteer board of directors.
