Los Angeles police have arrested three suspects in connection with a residential burglary in Venice Nov. 8, police said.

Officers were called at 3:45 p.m. to the 1200 block of Preston Way, near Penmar Avenue in Venice, where suspects allegedly broke into a home by prying open the back door, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.

Once inside, two suspects allegedly ransacked the residence for property while a third suspect waited outside as the getaway driver, police said.

After the two suspects left the home with undisclosed items, they were picked up by the third suspect in a vehicle, police said.

The suspects then allegedly led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended a few blocks away.

All three suspects were arrested for residential burglary and transported to the LAPD Pacific station for booking, police said.

All of the property taken from the residence was recovered and returned to the victims, police said.
