The Santa Monica Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a series of vehicle burglary thefts in August.

Between August 19th and 20th during nighttime hours, a series of vehicle burglaries occurred in the northern portion of Santa Monica, where the suspect allegedly entered parked cars by force and removed miscellaneous items, police said.

The suspect wanted in connection with the incidents is identified as Amilcar Sanchez, 27, five-foot-six, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, police said.

No suspect vehicle was seen at the time of the incidents.
