Los Angeles police are searching for two suspects who allegedly stole about $3,000 in cash from a Sizzler restaurant in Westchester during an armed robbery Thursday, October 30th.
The two suspects, described as black men wearing hooded sweatshirts with bandanas over their faces, were both armed when they entered the restaurant in the 5800 block of Manchester Avenue, near Airport Boulevard in Westchester at about 9:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Pacific Detective Steven Katz said.
The suspects reportedly told the restaurant employees to “remain calm” and that “this is a robbery,” as they allegedly stole cash from an office, Katz said. No injuries were reported and no customers are believed to have been in the restaurant at the time, he said.
The suspects took the money and fled the restaurant on foot, Katz said. The incident was captured on security cameras.
One suspect is described as five-feet-four, 200 pounds and approximately 18 years old. The other suspect is described as six feet tall, 160 pounds and 18 years old, Katz said.
Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is asked to call LAPD robbery detectives at (310) 482-6396.
