The Conscious Life Expo conference and celebration of “progressive thought and radical solutions,” returns this year Friday through Monday, February 9th to 12th, to the Los Angeles Airport Hilton, 5711 Century Blvd., Westchester. Tickets are $25 per day.

The event features four days of workshops, performances, seminars and lectures on topics of progressive politics, new age spirituality, consciousness and organic living.

In all, the Conscious Life Expo plans to present about 150 exhibitors, 35 keynote speakers, A Conscious Film Festival, a Saturday night concert, eight panel discussions, 92 lectures, post-conference seminars and a business symposium.

Headlining special guests include Don Miguel Ruiz, author/ pundit Arianna Huffington, musician John Trudell and author Martha Beck.

A highlight of Friday’s program will be the Conscious Business Symposium, a one-day conference for entrepreneurs with the theme of “Turning Your Passion Into Profits.” Hours of the symposium are 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 9th, and tickets are $65.

At the symposium, author Jan H. Stringer will speak on “strategic synchronicity” and transforming business into a tool for attracting “perfect relationships”; business manager Wendy Barlin will lecture on “Five Pillars to a Strong Business Foundation”; businesswoman Nikki Vescovi will discuss how to “stop stressing and start living”; marketing strategist Audrey Philpot will speak on “Success Secrets of Mastermind Groups”; Deborah Gallant will lecture on “Internet Marketing Fundamentals for Business”; and business coach/ author Eli Davidson will lecture on what she calls “surefire success strategies.”

The event emcee is Monique Guild, who evaluates businesses and tries to help people reach business goals.

Friday’s lectures include a talk on “life after death” and near-death experiences with a panel of authors hosted by Dannion Brinkley.

Highlights of Saturday’s program will include a nighttime concert with music by “peace troubadour” James Twyman and rockin’ blues and folk mixed with chanting by John Trudell and Bad Dog.

Other Saturday highlights include Richard Hoagland’s lecture on “The Real Story Behind President Bush’s Return to the Moon”; “Healing Yourself with Music” by Steven Halpern; “Psychology of the Future” talk with Stanislav Grof; and “Sex, Time and Power: How Women’s Sexuality Shaped Evolution,” a talk by Leonard Shlain.

Al Gore’s “The Climate Project,” a lecture series based on the concepts presented in the documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, will be presented by writer/director/producer Scott Catamas at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10th.

The Conscious Film Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, February 10th and 11th, and will feature screenings of Indigo: Evolution, Spiritual Warrior, Crop Circles, UFO – The Greatest Story, Origins of Yoga, TRUDELL, Naked Ashes, The Odyssey, The Crux and Brothers.

Sunday’s highlights include Martha Beck’s talk on “Metamorphosis: Changing Your Life Forever”; “The Prophecy Convergence” by Sean David Morton; “The Power of Authenticity” by Don Miguel Ruiz; “The Changing Face of Time” by Dannion Brinkley; and Conscious Parenting Interactive Seminar with Lisa Garr and William Stierle.
