The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors will hold a public workshop for interested members of the public to provide input on the planned expansion of Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey.
The meeting is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 15th, in the Burton Chace Park Community Room, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey.
T. Keith Gurnee, of RRM Design, will facilitate the workshop. RRM Design is a Department of Beaches and Harbors urban design consultant.
Various stations will be set up, at which members of the public will be encouraged to offer their concepts for expansion of the park.
The public will also be invited to comment upon or submit their own ideas of how they envision the park could be reconfigured to accommodate various uses, according to a departmemt spokesman.
