City Councilman Bill Rosendahl is hoping that the third time will be a charmed term after his Sept. 7 announcement that he will be seeking a third four-year term on the Los Angeles City Council.
The councilman, whose 11th District includes Playa Vista, Westchester, Mar Vista, Del Rey, Playa del Rey and Venice, filed his financial paperwork at City Hall recently, which will allow him to begin to raise campaign funds.
“I’m honored to serve the people of the 11th District and the people of Los Angeles,” the councilman told The Argonaut on Sept. 3.before Labor Day. “It would be my honor and my privilege to serve them again for another four years.”
Rosendahl, who resides in Mar Vista, defeated Flora Gil Krisiloff in a runoff election to win his first term in 2005. He was reelected in 2009 after he handily beat Department of Water and Power employee Craig Wilson.
The councilman, 66, recently underwent a follow-up procedure at Saint John’s Hospital but said he now feels “as healthy as I’ve ever been.”
