Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl has created a Scattergood-Olympic Environmental Impact Report (EIR) oversight team to work with local communities, the city Department of Water and Power and Council District 11 throughout the EIR process.

The team will be comprised of seven people: two from Westchester-Playa del Rey, two from Del Rey, two from Mar Vista and one from West Los Angeles.

The purpose of creating the team is to work with DWP and the council district to foster open, transparent, and constructive participation by the community in the EIR process, according to a deputy for Rosendahl.

The councilman plans to meet via conference call with the Scattergood-Olympic EIR oversight team members to coordinate community strategy and goals.

Rosendahl said he will meet at a later date with DWP representatives and the EIR oversight team to discuss the planning and timeline for the upcoming Scattergood-Olympic environmental report.
