Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl and the Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council will hold the third and final Town Hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 10th, to publicly review the draft of a new Venice Beach vending ordinance.

This meeting will be held at the Oakwood Recreation Center, 767 California Ave., Venice.

Rosendahl held the first two Town Hall meetings to allow community stakeholders the opportunity to review the proposed changes to the Venice Beach ordinance, express concerns, and provide feedback for revisions.

The draft ordinance and a community proposal — both of which contain commentary and feedback from the community, the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, and the city attorney’s office — will be under discussion during the final Town Hall meeting.

Representatives of the City Department of Recreation and Parks, the city attorney, and the Los Angeles Police Department will also attend to answer questions from the public.

The revised ordinance is expected to be submitted to the Los Angeles City Council for final approval “a couple of days after the meeting,” Rosendahl press deputy Safiya Jones said this week.
