Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl is scheduled to hold a town hall meeting Tuesday, June 5th, to “thoroughly and publicly” discuss the issue of north airfield safety and modernization at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The town hall is scheduled to be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westchester Senior Citizen Center, 8740 Lincoln Blvd., Westchester.
Representatives from Los Angeles World Airports, the Los Angeles city agency that operates LAX, will present safety information and technical data on the northern runways and discuss various reconfiguration options.
Members of the Alliance for a Regional Solution to Airport Congestion (ARSAC) and the Neighborhood Council of Westchester/Playa del Rey are also scheduled to attend.
The public is invited to attend to learn more about runway safety issues and to give input on potential runway safety and modernization solutions.
