The Venice Rotary Club will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 27th to benefit Los Angeles Fire Station No. 63, 1930 Shell Ave., Venice.
The Rotary Club has adopted Station 63 to help renovate the aging facility. The first renovation project planned is to replace 250 yards of carpet at the fire station
The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast is offered for a $5 donation and the public is invited to attend. Sponsors are being sought for additional donations and are asked to contact Rotary Club member Tom Ryan at (310) 795-0557, or firstname.lastname@example.org/.
The event will feature tours of Fire Station 63, introduction to the equipment, a bounce house for children and a raffle drawing for prizes at 11:30 a.m.
The Venice Rotary Club, formerly the Venice-Marina Rotary Club, recently relocated its meetings to the Firehouse restaurant at Main Street and Rose Avenue. Meetings are scheduled at 7:30 a.m. Thursdays.
