Westchester Lutheran Church and School will hold a “Giant Rummage Sale” to raise funds to aid in the recovery of brothers Alex and Zaven Silah and their cousin Greg Silah, who have been missing since visiting with their fathers in early July.

The rummage sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8th, at the school, 7831 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Westchester.

Police say it is believed that the Silah boys were kidnapped by their fathers, John and George Silah, who lived together in Westchester. The Los Angeles Police Department and FBI are investigating the matter.

Funds are being raised for a recovery operation to be conducted by the Association for the Recovery of Children, a nonprofit organization.

Alex and Zaven are students at Westchester Lutheran School.

The school and church communities have rallied to support the boys’ mothers.

A fundraising concert featuring the school choirs was held in September and T-shirts and bracelets are being sold on campus.

The community is invited to attend the rummage sale. Visitors are asked to enter the campus through the driveway entrance on 77th Street. The sale will be held in the area behind (south of) the sanctuary.
