Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica will celebrate the new home of its Heart Center in the recently opened Howard Keck Center with a ceremony Sunday, Feb. 20.

The “Heart Reunion” celebration will bring together Saint John’s heart patients with their nurses, experienced physicians and dedicated support staff, along with several surprise distinguished guests. The event will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Saint John’s new four-story atrium and dining court at the center, 1328 22nd St., Santa Monica.

Saint John’s welcomes the entire community to learn more about the cutting-edge Heart Center and its services.

The event will include heart-healthy foods and drinks, music, a photo booth and several tables dedicated to heart health. Saint John’s registered dietitians will be on hand to answer questions about nutrition as well as to share heart-healthy recipes.

There will also be booths where guests can get a body composition analysis, including their body mass index (BMI), as well as massages. BMI scores are considered a measure of whether a person is “underweight,” “healthy,” “overweight” or “obese”, and doctors say they are an important tool in evaluating heart health.

Additionally, tours will be given of the new health center.
