Santa Monica police officers responded to an armed robbery at a local restaurant Dec. 18.
At approximately 3:55, a call was placed reporting the robbery at 802 Santa Monica Blvd. from a Jack in the Box. Upon arrival, officers made contact with three victims who stated that three male suspects had entered the location wearing ski masks and one with a knife, according to police. The suspects ordered an employee and a customer into the restaurant’s walk-in freezer. After obtaining the cash, the last victim was placed into the freezer and the suspects fled the location in a late model, gold colored Chevrolet Suburban.
All three suspects were described as males, possibly Hispanic of unknown age, 5’7” to 5’10” wearing black ski masks, dark colored jackets, blue jeans and gloves.  This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Det.
