Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital seeks adults and teens who can spend at least four hours per week helping others in the community by volunteering at the medical center.

Volunteers are needed in virtually all areas of the 279-bed medical center, including the admissions office, emergency center, gift shop, information desk, surgery waiting area and nursing units. The medical center is also seeking more pet-trainer teams to participate in its Pet-Assisted Therapy program.

Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities at the medical center’s sister facility, UCLA Medical Center in Westwood.
