The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled closures of the Marina Freeway (State Route 90) connectors to the northbound San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405) during specific times on weekdays until Friday, August 17th.
ï The Marina Freeway west connector to I-405 northbound is scheduled to be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays only until August 17th, according to Caltrans, and
ï the Marina Freeway east connector is scheduled to be closed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays only until August 17th.
Detours will be signed.
The closures are part of the $167 million High Occupancy Vehicle project on I-405 between the Marina Freeway and the Santa Monica Freeway (Interstate 10).
The project is expected to be completed in early 2009, when the High Occupancy Vehicle lane on I-405 southbound will be continuous from the San Fernando Valley to Orange County, according to Caltrans.
