Winston Braham, chief financial officer and assistant superintendent of fiscal and business services for the Santa Monica- Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) has resigned.
The district’s board of education will consider his resignation at the Thursday, December 14th, regularly scheduled meeting.
Braham — who has worked in the district for just over two years — was appointed to his position in October of 2004.
He had previously been with the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he was business manager.
Superintendent Dianne Talarico is currently recruiting an experienced person to serve as an interim for Braham’s position until a formal search can be conducted.
