Cheryl Pers Rembert, active in Marina del Rey boating, died Thursday, November 11th, after receiving injuries in an auto accident as she and her family were en route to a skiing weekend. She was 45.

A celebration of her life is planned at noon Saturday, November 20th, at the American Martyrs Church, 624 15th St., Manhattan Beach.

Rembert and her crew competed in and won the “Women on the Water” (WOW) Regatta on three occasions.

She is survived by her husband Stewart, their twin children Will and Michelle, born in October 2003, her parents, a brother and a sister.

Two charities have been chosen for memorial donations.
