No one was injured when a suspect allegedly fired several shots at a moving vehicle on 20th Street in Santa Monica Saturday, December 10th, Santa Monica police said.

Police were called to the 2000 block of 20th Street at 2:28 p.m. regarding shots fired in the area.

Preliminary information revealed that a suspect standing on 20th Street allegedly fired shots at a moving vehicle traveling on 20th Street, police said.

Officers stopped the victims’ vehicle and saw that no one was injured inside the vehicle.

A man, who is an alleged gang member, was driving the vehicle that was shot at and a passenger was arrested for an outstanding no bail warrant, police said.

The shooting suspect is described only as a black male.
