The Main Street Business Improvement Association in Santa Monica plans its Fifth Annual SOULstice Celebration between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, June 26th, on Main Street in Santa Monica.

Planned are live music, pony rides, a petting farm, face painting, balloon twisting with Rockie the Clown, Jersey Jim — a comedy magician — a scavenger hunt and a sidewalk sale.

Several tribute bands to the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dyland, and Neil Young will perform:

– Highway 61 will offer a tribute to Dylan;

– The Neil Deal to Neil Young;

– Peace Frog to The Doors;

– Number 9 to The Beatles and

– The Rolling Clones to the Rolling Stones.

Other music will be offered in the First Federal parking lot between Main and Ashland Streets, in the Marine Street lot at Main and Marine Streets and in the Edgemar Courtyard.

Music coordinated by composer and guitarist Jonathan Grass, featuring site-specific new music works, structured improvisations and open-space, multi-stage format for large and small ensembles, soloists, live electronics and dancers is planned at the Edgemar Courtyard.
