The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) closed the Braddock Drive on-ramp to the southbound San Diego Freeway (I-405) for approximately four weeks starting Friday, February 9th.

The on-ramp is closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, for sound wall construction between Braddock Drive and Ballona Creek.

The sound wall is part of a $167 million High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) project on the San Diego Freeway from the Marina Freeway (State Route 90) to the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10).

The sound wall project is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.
