A series of alleged street robberies and attempted street robberies took place in Santa Monica and parts of West Los Angeles after 11 p.m. Sunday, July 25th.

Santa Monica police took three suspects into custody without incident and a replica firearm was recovered.

One suspect was identified as Astin Michael Alexander-Harris, 19, of Los Angeles.

Two other suspects, one male and one female, were identified as juveniles.

Santa Monica police were on alert because incoming descriptions of the robberies in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles had similarities in suspects and the vehicle used.

At 11:46 p.m., Santa Monica Police Department officers saw the vehicle in the 3300 block of Pico Boulevard.

The vehicle had earlier been reported stolen.

Santa Monica police followed the vehicle to the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway, to the southbound San Diego Freeway and to Slauson Avenue, where a felony stop was conducted.

The investigation of these alleged robberies is ongoing.
