The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors has partnered with the Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau to offer “Marina Movie Nights” this summer.

The movie classic “Grease” is the first of four “Marina Movie Nights” scheduled for Thursday, July 30th at Burton Chace Park, at 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey.

On Saturday, August 8th, “Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa” will be shown. Thursday, August 13th will feature “March of the Penguins” and the final film of the “Movie Nights” lineup will be “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” on Saturday, August 22nd.

All “Marina Movie Nights” are free and showtime for all movies is 8 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the park concession.

The Marina del Rey WaterBus is operating a special “Marina Movie Nights” schedule for Thursdays from 5 p.m. to midnight and will run its regular Saturday schedule from 11 a.m. to midnight.
