Los Angeles police arrested three suspects after they allegedly burglarized a Best Buy in West Los Angeles and led officers on a pursuit into Venice early Tuesday, July 12.
The three men allegedly broke into the Best Buy store in the 11300 block of W. Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles, taking an unidentified number of electronics and other products, which they put into a U-Haul van, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
Police were called to the store after an alarm was sounded shortly before 3:30 a.m. and officers chased the van into the Venice area.
The suspects then abandoned the vehicle at Milwood and Electric avenues, near Abbot Kinney Boulevard, and fled on foot, the LAPD spokesman said. One suspect was quickly apprehended, and following a search of the area, the two other suspects were arrested, police said.
The van and all of its contents were recovered by police. The total value and type of merchandise taken was not immediately known, police said.
