A man walked into a Santa Monica Pier men”s restroom at approximately 1:40 p.m. Sunday, August 26th, and witnessed a man masturbating.

The witness called Santa Monica police and officers found the suspect still inside the restroom and arrested him.

The suspect was booked for loitering in a public restroom and public lewdness.


At approximately 3:11 a.m. Saturday, August 25th, a witness saw suspects spray-paint a sign that belongs to the City of Santa Monica in the 2400 block of Centinela Avenue.

When officers arrived, the witness told them the suspects had fled in a vehicle. The witness was able to take down the vehicle”s license plate number.

Within one hour, officers tracked the plate number and went to the 2800 block of Exposition Boulevard to arrest three men for vandalism.


Santa Monica police were called to the 1900 block of Pico Boulevard at 11:37 p.m. Friday, August 24th, in response to a report of vandalism at a restaurant.

Employees told police a woman threw a five-gallon plastic water bottle at the restaurant”s window. The bottle, which was empty, broke the window.

Officers arrived to find the suspect still at the scene. She was arrested and booked for vandalism and probation violations.


Santa Monica police officers are looking for suspects who stole beer from a liquor store 10:38 p.m. Monday, August 20th, at the intersection of 20th Street and Pico Boulevard.

Two men walked into the store, took two 12-pack cases of beer, walked out of the store without paying for them and fled in an awaiting dark-colored minivan.

Police said the suspects did not say anything to the store employee, who was somewhere inside the store at the time of the incident.
