Development of Fisherman’s Village is essential. Although, the design needs to truly represent the nautical spirit of the Marina Del Rey Harbor. This particular concept is out of step with the maritime experience visually. As one enters the harbor on a yacht from the sea the Fisherman’s Village is an iconic landmark.Get back to work and re-design the project. If you make it bigger you must make it better! Consider a naval architect as a consultant.
are there more renderings as these are fairly generic? Like to see more on the aquarium etc. The design also looks uninventive and lacks the character of where it is. But I’m all for a rebirth. so much could be done
Yet again another iconic place losing its charm. Looks just like playa vista & the other big ugly buildings in marnia del rey. I grew up here and would love to see them keep the charm and ocean vibe. If I want santa monica that is where I will go. Will there be any historical places to show people? San Francisco is not tearing everything down to look new and yet they pack the crowds in. City planning should start over. But it probably won’t happen since marina del rey is “los angeles” and they will get all the tax revenues!
Similar to how Redondo Beach harbor was mutilated with that gigantic parking structure obliterating the previous nautical charm fortunately still represented by Tony’s restaurant/bar.
Ugly buildings. Already looks outdated. You have taken away all charm and replaced it with yet another mall.

Ugly buildings! We don’t need another mall! Isn’t this Marina for local Marine recreational guests?
The Marina will be indistinguishable from downtown Santa Monica in about 5 years at this rate.
