Classic motorcycles will make a stop on Venice Boulevard for the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally Saturday, Sept. 15.

Presented by the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Club, the rally will take place from 11 to 6 p.m. at 400 Venice Blvd. in Venice.

Prior to the event festivities, motorcyclists and other participants will recreate a historic 1910 photo of a crowd with bicycles on Windward Avenue in Venice. The photograph is scheduled to be taken at 9 a.m., with staging beginning at 8 a.m., under the famous Venice sign at Windward and Pacific avenues.

Riders will then set off for a round-trip ride up the Pacific Coast Highway and return for the rally.

More than 800 motorcycles were part of last year’s event, organizers said.

This year’s rally will feature live music throughout the day, a beer garden sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon, a charity raffle with prizes, vintage motorcycle contest, food vendors and a pinup girl contest.

General bike parking is $5.
