The Verdi Chorus is commemorating its 25th anniversary year with two concerts on Saturday and Sunday, April 12th and 13th.

The musical performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica, 1008 11th St.

The program inlcudes selections from Verdi’s Nabucco, Ernani and I Lombardi.

The concerts will feature the 50-voice chorus and guest artists — soprano Kathleen Roland, mezzo-soprano Diana Tash, tenor Christopher Campbell and baritone In Joon Jang.

Founding artistic director and conductor Anne Marie Ketchum will direct the chorus.

Pianist Laraine Stivers-Madden will accompany.

Ticket prices are $10 for students, $25 for seniors and $30 for general admission.

The concerts are made possible, in part, by the Santa Monica Arts Commission City of Santa Monica Community Arts Grant Program and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
