The Marina del Rey WaterBus summer weekend service is scheduled to begin Friday, June 27th, and continue through Monday, September 1st.
WaterBus service is available Fridays from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Holiday WaterBus service is available from 11 a.m. to midnight for the Fourth of July, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Labor Day Monday, September 1st.
A special Thursday night WaterBus service will operate from 5 p.m. to midnight during the Marina del Rey Summer Concerts on July 10th and 24th, and August 7th and 21st, for concertgoers who prefer water transportation to and from the concerts.
In addition to WaterBus service, the free, clean-fuel landside Beach Shuttles serving Playa Vista, Marina del Rey and the Venice Pier are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through September 1st.
A special Beach Shuttle schedule will operate during the Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series to drop off and pick up passengers at Burton Chace Park.
The shuttle will also operate on Classical Thursdays, (July 10th and 24th; August 7th and 21st), from 5 to 10 p.m., to allow people attending the concerts to leave their cars at home.
On Pop Saturdays, (July 19th; August 2nd, 16th and 30th), the shuttle will follow the regular Saturday schedule from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Riders can walk, bike or drive to any of the seven boarding locations for the Marina del Rey WaterBus. The boarding locations are:
n Fisherman’s Village, 13755 Fiji Way;
Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way;
Waterfront Walk/Fire Station #110, 4433 Admiralty Way;
Mother’s Beach, 4101 Admiralty Way;
Dolphin Marina, 13900 Panay Way;
Esprit I, 13900 Marquesas Way, Dock Gate #B-416; and
Marina Harbor, 14028 Tahiti Way, Dock Gate #A-2200.
Tickets are available at each boarding location for $1 per person, one-way. Day passes are $5 and season passes can be purchased for $30 at the Fisherman’s Village boarding location.
All boarding locations are fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), except at the Fisherman’s Village stop.
Parking is available at Los Angeles County lots throughout Marina del Rey for a minimal fee.
