Westchester Lutheran Middle School’s golf team finished in first place out of six competing teams in the Pacific Basin League

finals this past season, winning by 19 strokes.

The team is coached by middle school teacher Mark Tennyson and Jamal Adams.

Individual players’ performances were also scored for the final Westchester Lutheran team tally, with Jennifer Johnson taking first place overall with a score of 29. Other top scorers included Nick Engelhardt, who took third place overall with a score of 32, and Chuck Isgar, who earned fifth place overall.

Other team members include Kha Russell, Khing Russell, Preston Simpson, Tyler Nelson, Justin Maeder, Kaitlyn Greta, Sarah Greta, Elliot Landon, Derek Lorenzo, Annika Gilboy, Jerrod Adams, Amanda Sherron and Chasiri Sherron.

Westchester Lutheran Church has been serving the Westchester community for over 60 years since its opening in 1944. It is currently led by Pastor Fred Masted and is home to Westchester Lutheran School, which serves preschool through eighth grades.
