The 29th Annual Holiday Home Tour, spotlighting five homes in the Westchester/Playa del Rey area that are decorated for the upcoming holidays, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6.

Presented by the Westchester Mental Health Guild, the home tour is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with net proceeds from the event benefiting the Airport Marina Counseling Service.

The clinic, which treats between 300 and 500 children, adults and families weekly, has established outreach programs to local elementary and high schools, providing child therapy and preventive intervention.

The homes featured on the tour include a contemporary home that “blurs the lines between indoors and outdoors,” a renovated beach bungalow, a new one-story home well-designed for a growing family, and two homes that showcase art and antiques in two very different settings, event organizers say.

Tickets are $25 in advance, or $20 for seniors 65 and over. Tickets can be purchased at The Guilded Cage Gift Shop, 8917-B South Sepulveda Blvd. in Westchester, or online at

Day-of-event tickets are $30 and will be available at the Westchester YMCA Annex, 8020 Alverstone Ave., Westchester. Children under 12 years old are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

Home tour ticket holders are invited to attend a reception and enjoy holiday shopping at the Guilded Cage gift boutique from noon to 5 p.m. at the YMCA Annex.
