Westchester resident Hillary Selvin, executive director for the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles, has been honored by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with itsThomas Crail Lifetime Achievement Award.

Selvin was presented with the award at the 27th Annual Creative City Awards event, which recognizes those individuals and companies in West Hollywood for their outstanding leadership in the community, innovative approach to business and/or creative merits in product and service. Prior to her position with NCJW/LA, Selvin served as president and CEO of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The Jewish women council is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who aim to turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, the council strives for social justice by working to improve the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
