The Flight Path Learning Center and Museum at Los Angeles International Airport recently received a $5,000 donation from the Westchester Woman’s Club for its flight simulator training program.

Flight Path President Rowena Ake accepted the check from Beverly Migliazzo, who represented Carol Cole, woman’s club president.

Flight Path conducts training classes in the LAX Imperial Terminal as part of its mission to help prepare youth for careers in aviation and aerospace. Other organizations that support the program include American Legion Posts 177, 283 and 108, the Westchester YMCA, and Los Angeles World Airports, the city agency which operates LAX.

Flight Path is located in the Imperial Terminal, 6661 W. Imperial Highway, Los Angeles. It is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission and parking are free.
