Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students from Westminster Elementary School in Venice won 19 trophies in a math contest sponsored by the Mathematics League Wednesday, June 15th.

Angel Lopez earned a school record by finishing a chart in 33 seconds.

Other winners in the 60 Second Club Contest were Armando Becera, Nungari Gachoka, Elizabeth Lopez, Guadalupe Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez and Jimi-Lee Tomboc.

Fourth-grade winners were Eduardo Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez, Charbrene Hunter, Florin-James Langer, Larry Lopez and Gabriel Durkin White.

Fifth-grade winners were Juan Leon, Jason Lopez, Kevin Mayer, Gor Mkrtchyan, Craig Parks and Allan Savedra.

Mathematics coach Vivienne Feuerstein at Westminster Elementary School coached the students.
